Build Requirements

M&E Environment

Lighting: specialist lighting for each area is required so as to bring out the colour of F&V, Flowers, Meat, Bakery, Cheese and Clothing. Lighting should not conflict with the lights from Multidecks or service counters.

Cooling: To set the right subliminal message to our customers that they are now entering a fresh food environment, it should be cool, but most importantly, any air conditioning units should not be placed in conflict with the output of the service counters or multidecks.

Special Requirements: Flowers, Fruit & Vegetables loose moisture and we need designated facilities for them where the humidity can be controlled.

Flies & Wasps: We carry a lot of open food and will need air curtains to knock down flies and wasps.

Noise

Within the open aspect of the building and in order to create a calm atmosphere within the Farmshop, we need screens and baffles to reduce the noise from the Kitchen and dining area.

Storage

We stock specialist and high value goods which will need appropriate storage facilities for each.
